ABOUT POPPY PEAK

Hello! I’m Amy, the designer, maker, and owner of Poppy Peak based in Anchorage, AK. After working as a graphic designer for several years, I taught myself to bead weave as a creative outlet that involved less staring at a computer screen and more working with my hands. I quickly fell in love with the endless exploration of color and shape, the tactile textures of the tiny glass beads, and the meditative quality of stitching together a pattern one bead at a time. Running this little business has been nothing less than a dream come true, so I just want to say a big THANK YOU! For being here, cheering me on, and supporting me in all ways big and small. I love you big time.
